Turtle Beach Stealth 700

Turtle Beach Stealth 700 for PS4 Pro & PS4

Calling all PS4 gamers! I recently had the chance to try out the new Stealth 700 wireless gaming headset from Turtle Beach. Everything about it blew me away. Let’s get into some of my favorite features.

Wireless Bluetooth

Having my gaming accessories be wireless is an absolute necessity. With four kids, two dogs, and two cats running around, wires are accidents just waiting to happen. The Stealth 700 headset boasts Bluetooth connectivity to take calls and listen to music during my gaming sessions. Although, let’s be honest; if you try to call me while I’m in an Overwatch match, you’re going straight to voicemail. 😉

The battery life is quite a bit better than most of my other wireless accessories. Using the Active Noise-Cancelling and Bluetooth functions, I get around 10 hours out of a single charge, and around 15 hours if I turn those functions off.

Noise-cancelling surround sound

Remember the kids and pets I mentioned? Well, they can make it pretty hard to hear things like dialogue in games. That’s why I LOVE the Active Noise-Cancelling function of the Stealth 700. Using the Turtle Beach Audio Hub app on my smartphone, I can not only turn on Active Noise-Cancelling with the push of a button, I can customize the sound to suit my taste with things like bass, treble, and vocal boost. All of that is just icing on the cake though, because the DTS Headphone:X 7.1 Surround Sound sounds beautiful, right out of the box.

I tested out the Stealth 700 by hopping into a VR game of Resident Evil 7 and was completely immersed. If you’ve got a PSVR headset, I highly recommend rounding out the experience with the Stealth 700. It’s jaw-droppingly cool.

One last note on the surround sound: my son has been using the Stealth 700 and is loving the Superhuman Hearing feature. He raves about how much easier it is to hear enemy footsteps in games like Fortnite and Call of Duty.
Turtle Beach Stealth 700

Probably my most important requirement of every gaming headset is that it is comfortable. The Stealth 700 is lightweight and has leather-wrapped ear cushions for maximum comfort. And for those of us who wear glasses, Turtle Beach incorporates their unique ProSpecs glasses-friendly design.

The Verdict

In case I hadn’t made it crystal clear, I couldn’t be happier with the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 gaming headset. It is now my go-to headset for VR and standard PS4 gaming, listening to music, and streaming Netflix. The fact that you can get all these features for under $150 is just nuts. Historically I would have had to shell out at least $200 for a comparable, fully loaded premium wireless surround sound gaming headset.

If you’ve got a gamer in your life, the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 gaming headset will make them a very happy camper (no pun intended for you first-person shooter fans) this holiday season. And to make the deal even sweeter, here’s a special limited-time offer:
