Shadow Boxer – A Poem

He steps into the ring
hands tied behind his back
eyes blindfolded
feet shackled

He has no way to fight
only a faith in what is meant to be
a heart full of hope
a will to succeed

He knows not the outcome
his opponent is a mystery
no guarantees
only unknowns

He steps into the ring
always the dreamer
the fighter
the shadow boxer

This one is about fighting for what you believe in even when the odds aren’t in your favor.
