Positive Challenge Day 1: Gratitude

My friend, and fantasy baseball rival, Joe Fletty, nominated me to take part in a 5-day Positive Challenge on Facebook. Joe said, and I quote, “It’ll be fun to see if Tim can be positive for five days in a row.”

Apparently, I have a bit of a reputation.

The goal is to post 3 positive things, for 5 days, and nominate 3 other people each day to participate. Since I’m lazy and wanted to kill two birds with one stone, I decided to turn my daily positives into blog posts. Plus, it will be nice to have five documented days of positivity to reference after I make my return to the dark side.

Let’s kick this challenge off with three things I’m grateful for.

Why I Extra Life: Faith 1 year remission
#1: Healthy Children

When you’ve got a chronically ill child, you’re grateful for the healthy days. And considering my Papie Bug has been hospital-free for 2 1/2 years, I’m exceedingly grateful.

#2: A Loving Wife

My friends will be the first to tell you that I out-kicked my coverage when I married Dawn. Actually, they’ll be the second to tell you. Seriously guys, there’s not a more loving, supportive, inspirational wife on the planet. I’m about 200% sure of it.

#3: Amazing Opportunities

Review Dad is less than a year old, and already, blogging has allowed me to go on some fantastic adventures and meet a lot of phenomenal people. From my first trip to SoFabCon, to a personal and inspirational interview with Atticus Shaffer, to the honeymoon Dawn and I never got to take as newlyweds, this past year has been one to remember.

Day 1 is in the bag. Time to go nominate 3 suckers friends on Facebook to participate. Check back tomorrow for some more positivity!
