Rayman Legends Review – A Fun Family Game
The Good
The Bad
Rayman Legends is a great family game that earns our highest recommendation.
My family loves games. I would say that all of us could be classified as gamers. We had the opportunity to review Rayman Legends. Rayman Legends is a platformer game for up to 5 players.
Here is a blurb from the Rayman Legends official website:
• Five-Player Co-op: Now even more players can join the fun! With four Wii Remote™ controllers (or Pro Controllers) and the Wii U GamePad, up to five players can play simultaneously! Jump in and jump out at any time during the 80+ levels of gameplay!
• Murfy to the Rescue: As the dedicated character on the Wii U GamePad, Murfy can tickle enemies, rotate platforms, move objects, cut ropes, dig paths, and even shoot a slingshot to take out dragons! Discover all the ways Murfy can interact with the world!
• Rayman Rocks: See if you have what it takes to be a Platforming Hero – jump to the beat of a drum, punch to the bass line, even zip-line during a guitar sustain. Timing and rhythm are the key to completing these maps set to music.
• The Game Must Go On: The Wii U console allows you to keep playing the game – even when your television is off – and continue Rayman’s adventure on the Wii U GamePad!
My thoughts – What I liked about the game was that it was an amazing experience. I liked going through the different worlds to save the teensies and it’s also fun to play with friends and family.
The controls were great because they were very easy to master and remember. The gameplay is even better because of the art and playstyle of the game. The multiplayer was a lot of fun because your friends are there to back you up. The only downside of multiplayer is it can get a bit hectic with too many players.
I highly recommend Rayman Legends because it is a great game and I would certainly play it again anytime. In my opinion, I would say that ages 8+ would enjoy it.
I give Rayman Legends 5 stars.
