Help Sick Kids & See a Grown Man Dress Like a Princess

Want to help sick kids AND watch a grown man humiliate himself by dressing as a princess and performing a musical number? Well then, you’re in luck.

Every year, Review Dad puts together a team of gamers to participate in Extra Life, to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. This year, I decided to up the ante a bit.

Princess Timelsa

If Team Review Dad can double its donation goal for the year, I will be dressing as Elsa from Disney’s Frozen (dress, wig, etc), and performing a high-energy lip sync performance of the hit song, Let It Go. The video evidence will be posted to YouTube for the world to see, along with a behind-the-scenes video with outtakes.

Our donation goal for 2014 is $1,000. That means that if we reach $2,000 in donations, Princess Timelsa will be making her not-so-royal debut on the Interwebz. Here’s a video announcement about the potential performance, along with a sneak peek:

Not the Elsa costume, but a glimpse of what you can look forward to.

I’ll be livestreaming a 24-hour video game marathon on October 25th, but you don’t need to wait until the marathon to donate and make my public humiliation a reality. Simply go here to donate and help us reach/double our goal.

A Good Cause

Remember, in the end, this is all about helping sick kids, and every penny of your generosity goes directly to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Not only that, but contributions are tax deductible, and each dollar donated earns you an entry into the prize drawings I’ll be holding during this year’s marathon!

For up-to-date news on how much Team Review Dad has raised, a personal story of how Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals saved my daughter’s life, more information about Extra Life, a video recap of last year’s marathon, and links to where you can donate and/or become a member of Team Review Dad, please visit our Extra Life page.

Let’s Make This Happen!

Thank you in advance for donating and helping to spread the message by sharing this blog post with your friends on Facebook and Twitter. And look for even more exciting announcements from Team Review Dad as we get closer to this year’s 24-hour gaming marathon!

Countdown to Timelsa

Goal reached! Here’s the video, as promised:
